Anini Reef Dying Quickly
August 29, 2012 by zero | 0 comments
We did a dive yesterday at Anini Reef and this infectious coral disease has spread all over the reef. One year ago there were 2 infections in our 100 meter transect. Four weeks ago there was 80 infections and now almost every coral is infected! This is over 500 beautiful rice corals! The disease is getting really ugly and is turning the corals black! The infectious patches on the corals are growing faster. Over two inches a week on many of them!! Visit hawaii-reef.com and watch the video and check out the latest updates.
